Founded V3LA to solve a problem he experienced firsthand over years on the night shift.
After years of overnight healthcare work, he observed that consumer wearables were designed almost exclusively around standard daytime schedules. The first version of V3LA began as a spreadsheet, a low-cost thermistor, and a series of self-conducted experiments across four-on/four-off rotations.
The concept became a company once the pattern proved consistent across colleagues on the same unit. As founder, he maintains direct oversight of the product's scientific claims — defining what the estimator may report, what a prescription may state, and where the product must remain silent due to insufficient confidence in the underlying data.
Continues to work night shifts personally and evaluates every release under real overnight conditions prior to launch.
